N'AWLINS AIR SHOW NIGHT AT ZEPHYR FIELD

NEW ORLEANS – The N’AWLINS Air show will be showcased Monday, April 27, during the New Orleans Zephyrs game against Albuquerque at Zephyr Field. 

     Come out and see some great baseball for only $5 with a military ID.  Also enjoy the Navy band, a fly over by Greg Poe in the Fagen Edge, and get a free mini air show poster.

     The N’Awlins Air show is May 2-3 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse.  This year’s line-up is headlined by the Navy’s Blue Angels. 

     The Air Show is open to the public and parking and admission are free.   Come out and see the best in air show fun and entertainment.  Gates open at 7 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday and the program begins at 9 a.m.

NAWLINS AIR SHOW TO SHOWCASE TOP GUNS

NEW ORLEANS – Preparations are under way for the 2009 Nawlins Air Show May 2-3 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse.  This year’s line-up includes the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Jet demonstration team, the U.S. Army Golden Knights freefall demonstration team, the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor demonstration team, Julie Clark American Aerobatics, Greg Poe in the Fagan Edge and much more.

            "Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base has been in south Louisiana for 50 years, protecting and serving the region and nation.  The air station is a national asset which will continue to serve honorably for the next 50 years and beyond," said Capt. William Snyder, Commanding Officer Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB).

            Some of the many displays to see include the U.S. Navy F/A 18 Hornet, U.S. Air Force F-16 Falcon, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard aircraft.  The show will also feature the U.S. Army Virtual Army Experience simulator.

            Admission and parking are free and there’ll also be plenty of food and drink for sale.  Come out and enjoy the best in air show fun and entertainment. Gates open at 7 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
